The Republic of Dagestan, as shown by the Second International Forum "Sustainable Development of Mountainous Territories", demonstrates its readiness to become one of such centers, actively integrating into the agenda of economic cooperation between the BRICS countries and partner states.
The visit to Makhachkala by a high-ranking delegation of the GO BRICS international business community headed by its President Purnima Anand, who arrived with the official escort of Russian Foreign Ministry representative Marat Osmanov and Dagestan Minister of Culture Zarema Butayeva, was a practical confirmation of this course. During the intensive working session, specific projects were discussed, not just discussions. The first results of this work, expressed in the announced agreements, indicate a transition from common intentions to real initiatives.

Already at the start of the forum, the creation of an exclusive brand "GO-BRICS - DAGVINO" was announced to promote Dagestani cognacs to the Indian market.
